A 4G network is being tested to deliver video and audio content to handhelds at must faster speeds than 3G. Using "Long-Term Evolution" (LTE) technology, the network will also transmit voice calls (VOIP). Rather than run separate voice and data networks, all cell communication could run on one 4G network, with service available next year.
